I need a replacement cradle/strap and also a bar cap for my 515-0109 Thule. Can you assist with the part numbers for ordering? Best, Doug

We do have some options for parts, but there will be no direct replacements since this rack is no longer made. For your Thule model 515-0109 bike rack, the best options for replacement straps are the # 05002200000 or the # 853-2569.

For the cradles, the Replacement Stay-Put Cradle for Thule # 853-7887 is what I can offer as a replacement option. This replacement part will fit 1" diameter tubing and fits on many current Thule bike rack models. These work with the Replacement Anti-Sway Cage for Thule Bike Racks # 853-7758. Keep in mind that this part will only work if the diameter of your arms is 1" on the 515-0109.

Using the assumption that you have 1" diameter tubing, the Replacement Round Tube End Cap for Thule Round Tube Bike Carriers # 853-2181 will be the correct replacement cap for your bar.

Should you choose to replace your bike rack, I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway # TH934XTR. This rack fits 1-1/4" and 2" receivers with a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike. It has anti-sway cradles, a tilting mast, folding arms and universal compatibility.
