Question:

Hello, I have a Yakima Dr. Tray. It has a 1.25inch hitch mount. I now have a 2inch receiver, and I need a 2inch to 1.25inch adapter that will work. Is there an adapter you can recommend for me, please. I have a 2019, F150 with a factory receiver.

The adapter I recommend using to convert the 1-1/4" shank on the Yakima Dr. Tray for use with a 2" hitch is the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # HT02. This is really the only way to use this rack with a 2" hitch. The above won't reduce weight capacity either since it does not extend the connection point away from the vehicle too far. Please note you will need a hitch pin to secure the reducer, I recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches part # e98880.
