My hitch arrived very timely and installation was easy. It took about two hours mainly because I was taking my time. The wiring harness plugged right into the factory towing package.
Very impressed on design and fitting of hitch. Went on in about 15 minutes by myself. I have a manufacturing background of 46 years, with tool design and building. Nice job guys! Will be ordering daughters hitch and other products from you in future.
Quick and easy installation did not even have to drop the spare tire although that might have been a little easier it took about an hour and a half one person on time delivery with all the parts I needed it did help that I had my own tools and torque wrench thank you etrailer.com
The hitch I ordered came super quick and it went on super easy and fast! Perfect fit!
I received my hitch in a timely manner, all the parts were there,etc.. However, when I began installing the hitch I discovered that after getting a bolt started on one side there was a 1/2 " gap between the hitch bracket and the frame rail on the opposite side, and the bolt provided was not long enough to get started in the frame bolt hole. I'm going to get a longer bolt to finish the installation. The hitch brackets don't appear to be bent so... Otherwise, I'm happy with the product, and wiil be ordering trailer tires soon.
It was awesome to learn that you all at etrailer had exactly what I needed to be able to attach my rearmounted cargo carrier and be able to tow a trailer if needed. A dream come true , when I thought all hope was lost. Thanks
Can’t expect perfection in an imperfect world . Had to do some minor adjustments for screw holes to line up (watched a Utube video) and was able to get it without too much trouble . Put a tow hitch from you guys on my wife’s vehicle and it fit like a glove . All is in place and I’m happy. with it .

The hitch installation was as easy as your videos showed it was. Since I don't have a lift I made a slight modification to my floor jack to lift & hold in place. Worked great.

Easy to bolt on. Perfect alignment with no prying. Just needed to drop the spare tire down to give myself a little more working roo. Great job in manufacturing it!
This product was simply amazing to work with. I purchased it for my 2004 Kia Sorento thinking I would have to do some customizing on it but no way! It fit like a charm! After a year of owning this receiver hitch, I could not be happier. The quality of the product is top notch. Even more important to me, the quality of service is exceptional.. a very good installation video made my job smooth and easy. Response to my questions have received prompt answers too.. The material is strong and feels heavy worked great to tow my little trailer and tool box. However, the installation is an entirely different story! The bar was about two inches narrower then the frame. The bolts provided where to short to make up the difference. There were no spacers to help either. I triple checked to make sure that what I ordered is what was sent and that this is the correct 20min install unit. Sadly it was. I recommend that you measure the gap between frame rails and then make the company measure to ensure you get the right size.

I was pulling my Harley. And a man hit me from behind at a red light, he put his truck up on my trailer with my Hsrlwy. The csr jacknifef. And the tow hitch was pushed up under my car.

This trailer hitch is awesome!! So easy to install! It took me approx 45 mins by myself with nothing but a socket wrench. I could have finished the install quicker but I didn’t lift up the back of my Sorento, I didn’t drop down the spare tire, just held the hitch in place and screwed on the 4 bolts. In hindsight if I had something to prop up one side of the hitch that would have made the install easier but as it was, I was able to complete it with no issues. Friendly tip: 1) use a q-tip to clean out the threads in the frame before trying to screw in the bolts. Mine had lots of grease and dirt that had to go. 2) tear open the box and fold it flat to use to lay on while putting on the hitch. I have a drive way and this made the process much easier also.
I put the hitch on my Kia Sorrento to haul around my pop-up and drift boat trailers. Installation went ok. I had to bend the fins slightly to get a flush fit and my frame threads were very rusty so I bought a tap and re-threaded two bolt holes. It's seen every season and a good amount of action... for pulling smaller lighter loads and cargo carriers it has absolutely been what I expected. For price, installation, and quality of build I have been very pleased.
I was amazed by how quickly the trailer hatch was delivered. I installed the trailer hitch less than 30 minutes with no issues. I don't know why I didn't purchase one year ago. I am happy and satisfied with the hitch. The hitch is constructed well.

The hitch is holding up very well. I have used it to tow a flatbed trailer and a jet ski. I am pleased
Doesn't fit, just tried putting it on but there's literally 1 inch gap. Not sure what I'm supposed to do

If you are having troubles with the holes not lining up, it could be that the hitch has been flexed during shipment. This is common amongst hitches, since the mounting brackets are made from a mild steel that allows the hitch to flex with the vehicle after installation. If the entire hitch was made of rigid steel, there would be a greater chance of the hitch being damaged and experiencing stress cracks. Such cracks could cause the hitch to malfunction. This flexing often times will cause the holes not to align. Because of this we do have a help article I have the link attached below that will walk you through the process of straightening the hitch.

Product was just as described, installation would have been quicker if I had followed the video installation advice and cleaned the frame nuts prior to putting 3 out of the 4 bolts on. I also purchased the wiring harness, and it was a 5 minute install. Clean look, trailering the boat felt comfortable and solid. Delivery was quick, tracking easy. If I ever need another hitch, etrailer will be my first stop.

Item came to me in a timely fashion and was exactly what I expected. The video instructions made installation so easy that I could do it.
Great fit!! Extremely fast delivery as well! I’m so glad I ordered from e trailer!! My son can now pull trailers without having to take my vehicle! Only wish I’d bought it sooner.
Hitch fit with no problem, used a couple of Jack stands to hold up, lined up holes, screwed in bolts, tighten with ratchet wench, did not even have to adjust muffler. Put on in less then 20 minutes.
Perfect fit. Took maybe 45 minutes to install the hitch and wire harness. My only suggestion is that it's pretty important to clean the threads thoroughly. I used a thread tap and some machine oil and the mounting bolts went in and torqued with no problems.
This hitch was a snap to put on. I just backed my truck on my ramps and lowered the spare tire. Let the front of the hitch rest on the tire while I lifted the back of it to put in the bolts on each side. Raised the hitch and put the other bolts in and.....Ta Da, I was done. I think it make our truck look tougher. Pulling trailers is so awesome. We always mention to our friends where we ordered ours. We are Very, Very satisfied with our etrailer hitch.

Great. Removed the spare tire, bolted it on and reinstalled the spare. No problem.
