Will the grommet fit in material that is 5/16inch thick

The Rubber Grommet # A70GB should have no problem being used in a material that is 5/16 of an inch in thickness as long as the hole is cut the proper shape.
To see the dimensions that the hole will need to be check out the picture I attached.
