Hole Size Dimension for Optronics LED Tail Light with Grommet

What is the hole size for the light and rubber grommet to fit in?

The light dimensions of the Optronics LED # TLL12RK are 7-9/16" long x 2-3/4" tall x 1-3/4" deep and the hole size needed is 6.75" by 2.5 inches. I confirmed this with my contact at the manufacturer and I've attached a template they sent to assist.

Jason, The spec shows 1-3/4" overall depth of the light but your answer states 3/4"deep. Does the 1-3/4" depth include the connector for the wiring? I am planning on installing these into 4 x 2 x 3/16" wall rectangular tubing but I only have 1-5/8" inside the tubing to work with. I might be OK because the face of the light sticks out from the face, but I am not sure by how much. Thank you for the help in advance. Bill

@Bill Jason had a typo and it should have read as 1-3/4", which I have since corrected. This measurement is taken from the face of the light assembly to the back where the connector is installed. The light housing piece is about 1" thick though and since these install with about half of the housing sticking out you'll have enough room for the connector - I just recommend using one that has an angle like the part # A47PB.
