The difference between 1500LD and the standard 1500 is the LD is the 2018 body style, where the standard 1500 is the new body style.
If your truck is the older 2018 body style then you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13175 which has a 600lb tongue weight rating and 6000lbs trailer weight rating or 1000lb tongue weight rating and 10000lb trailer weight rating if using a weight distribution hitch.
Now if your truck is the new body style you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13393 instead which has the same 600lb/6000lb or 1000lb/10000lb ratings.
To complete your towing setup you will just need a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip. If you do not already have these I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes all of these components.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
