Question:
Does the curt trailer hitch for the 2021 Volvo XC60 interfere with the rear hatch sensor? I noticed you mention that it does not interfere on the 2019. Just want to confirm that it is the same for the 2021. The dealer tells me that the sensor is actually left of center, not right in the middle.

The Curt # C92WR Trailer Hitch can cause issues with the lift gate sensors, but with the sensor being off center, said interference should be less than one that would be at the center point.
With the 2 inch receiver opening on this hitch, it would be ideal for a hitch mounted bike rack like the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. With a Lifetime warranty, 4 bike capacity, and tilting feature, it can be stored on the vehicle full time. The Thule Snug Tite Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 would also keep it secure from road wobbles and sticky fingers.
