Install was easy on our 2024 XC60 Recharge, although putting the rear bumper cover back on was definitely a two person job. I did some very minor trimming of the heat shield to prevent it from rubbing on the rear of the hitch. The rear hatch foot sensor still works with no issues after installing the hitch.
Hitch receiver arrived on time. With the help of the installation video, I installed the hitch receiver in an hour the evening of delivery. Excellent shipping, installation guidance and design of the hitch receiver.

no problem mounting the trailer hitch once I removed the bumper cover and steel bumper. I can carry 4 bicycles on the bike carrier that I bought no problem
This Hitch Receiver arrived safely and undamaged. It was packaged in a large cardboard box that also contained a smaller box containing the wiring kit ordered at the same time. Both will be installed later this week by a local trailer service company. Although there were a couple puncture holes in the large box hitch box, the hitch was in perfect condition.
FYI,the T-Connector box had been stapled to the inside of the hitch box. This smaller box was found loose inside the big box, having broken free from the staples during shipment.
I originally ordered the wrong receiver by mistake, but a quick call to customer service turned everything around. Sara S. was a huge help in getting my order (Items C84RJ and C92WR) sorted out. She addressed every single one of my questions and concerns, ensuring I had exactly what I needed.
The installation process was impressively straightforward:
• Hitch Receiver (C84RJ): Went on very easily—it took no more than an hour to fully install.
• Wiring Harness (C92WR): Equally simple. Since I already had the bumper/fascia removed, it only took about 30 minutes to get everything connected.

Easy install, Really nice to have the video. One suggestion: check the underside of the plastic bumper when refitting, before putting in any screws. It's easy to get it on the wrong side of the mounting plate and the heat shield.

Glad we could help, Dave! Have you installed hitches before? This is definitely up there for install difficulty and the time it takes to do so and 75 minutes is good! Also, what are you going to be using the hitch for?
