Can I use the five wire flat four and just combine the two white ground wires of the trailer wiring to the one white ground on the five wire connector? And if not, then where do I find a six wire flat four male connector?

I have a solution for you, but you won't want to use a 5 flat connector since the additional wire there is used for the reverse light circuit-which is not present on a 4 way flat. It looks like you've got a wishbone wiring harness with 2 running light circuits and also 2 ground circuits. To replace this, I recommend using the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w LED Test Lights # HM48192. To install this you will simply match the current wires to the correct terminal for function, splicing the two running light (black/brown) and ground wires together at the harness.

You could also use the Hopkins Endurance 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Trailer End - Ergonomic Design # HM48110 along with heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 and just make your connections to the included pig tails.
