Features to know about

Built for Frequent Launches and Long Hauls: Load Range C with 81-mph Speed Rating

When you’re hauling heavy gear or heading out for back-to-back trips, you need a tire that won’t quit. The Loadstar ST205/75D14 bias tire carries 1,760 lbs at 50 psi and is rated for up to 81 mph (speed rating M). It couples the strength of a bias tire with the stability of a radial, giving you dependable performance on every run. Both the tire and galvanized wheel meet Department of Transportation specs, so you can travel confidently at highway speeds.

Ready for the Elements: Galvanized Steel Wheel Resists Corrosion

Saltwater and humidity can take a toll on ordinary wheels, but this one’s built to last. The 14" x 6" steel wheel is fully galvanized for corrosion resistance that stands up to moisture, road spray, and coastal air. It keeps its finish season after season so you don’t have to worry about rust creeping in.

Handles the Bumps: Bias-Ply Stability with 6-Ply Strength

Bias construction uses thick nylon cords set at 30-45° angles in alternating layers. That design stiffens the sidewalls so the whole tire flexes together, keeping things stable over uneven ground. The 6-ply rating adds durability that helps prevent flex fatigue and gives a smoother ride when the surface gets rough.

Mounted, Inflated, and Simple to Fit: 5 on 4-1/2 Pattern with Zero Offset

Skip the mounting step because this tire and wheel combo comes assembled and aired up—just bolt it on and go. The wheel uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, zero offset, and a 3.19" pilot diameter for straightforward fitment. Rated at 1,870 lbs capacity, it’s built to handle real working loads without fuss.

Confidence Backed by Warranty Protection

This setup isn’t just tough; it’s covered. The Loadstar tire includes a 1-year worry-free guarantee that replaces it if damaged within the first year. There’s also a limited 5-year warranty on the tire and a limited 2-year warranty on the wheel for added peace of mind down the road.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

First time I’ve ordered from etrailer and I was very happy with the overall experience. The website was very helpful, pricing was very fair, the ordered was received as scheduled and very well packaged. Customer experience was excellent - great communications lots of personal touches were appreciated. I will be returning for any further needs.

by:

I like the wheels and tried only issue I had was that the two coating on two wheels were not coated smoothly in a couple places and the one spot were the coating was built up and was to a point that would cut you . I had to file this down

by:

Got my tire and wheel really quick and got the best price that I was looking for.

by:

I recently purchased a used 2017 boat/trailer combo. the trailer tires looked fine and I had them properly inflated. On a four mile trip to a fishing spot one tire blew after three and three quarter miles. I was on a busy two lane highway with a very narrow shoulder. There was no way to pull to the side, I limped the final quarter mile to parking lot at the fishing spot. Tire shredded, 14 inch wheel ruined. I tried four auto salvage yards attempting to find a used wheel with no luck. I had purchased new spare tire and wheel from etrailer a couple years prior for a different trailer. I looked on their site again and was pleased to find a wheel and tire combo at a very good price. Not wanting to have mismatched wheels and tires on the trailer I ordered a set of two. The set arrived a day earlier than estimated and are perfect. They are installed on the trailer and I'm confident I'll have several years of worry free trailering of the boat now.

by:

Wheels and tires as expected, pre-inflated to appropriate psi, speedy service, excellent communication, delivered within 3-4 days (one came in 3, one came in 4).
I’ll be ordering again.

by:

Exactly what I needed at a good price and delivery was quick. The galvanized wheels will be a huge upgrade from the standard painted ones that always rust. Always a pleasure doing business with etrailer!!

by:

Spare wheel with tire. Arrived in good condition. Feel much better to have a spare tire as I will be towing for a 4000 mile trip.

by:

Shipped quickly and the price was decent. I’m happy with the tires and rims

by:

Great price and quick free shipping. The finish on the galvanized rims wasn't perfect but overall I am satisfied

by:

From my placed order to delivery, kept me informed and got my order right to me.

by:

Easy to navigate website. Excellent selection. Great prices. Fast delivery. Exceptional customer service and communication. Why buy anywhere else? You have it figured out, and it didn’t come without lots of effective work. The tires are already bolted onto the trailer. Thanks-now if Amazon will just deliver the hubs for the other trailer.

by:

Trailer is one of the best companies I have dealt with it a long time. The staff was polite and helpful regarding the proper item to purchase. They are specific as to who, when and where your item is during delivery. It was a pleasure to have a correct hassle free purchase. I will definitely purchase future items from etrailer when needed. More companies should learn from them on how run a proper business. I will inform others to purchase from etrailer. Thank you again

by:

Just out the tires on the utility trailer. Took it for a test run. No more shaking!! The original tires were out of round and shook the trailer like crazy! It will finally have a smooth ride!

by:

Great prices, free delivery and very fast order fulfillment! I would definitely use etrailer again!

by:

The 205-75-14 tire and galvanized rim was exactly the right fit for my trailer. The order process was easy and it arrived as scheduled.

by:

Exactly what I needed to replace my current boat trailer wheels!

by:

The service was awesome. Quick, easy, and my tire arrived on the scheduled today. I don’t ask for any more. Headed to Mexico next week with one backup and one new trailer tire.
Planning and buying ahead keeps my trailer on the road instead of the side of the road. Thank you

by:

Needed a spare tire for my boat trailer. Found exactly what I needed here. Very happy with e trailer. Would purchase from them again.

by:

Every time I order from Etrailer, i'm so pleased I wonder why I shopped around and didn't go straight to them from the start. The tires were shipped super fast in easy to handle boxes. The value of these tires compared to what I can get locally is exceptional Etrailer for the win again, every time.

by:

Good tires and rims all ready to mount. I was up and going with my boat trailer in no time.

by:

After about four months the tire would no longer hold air. There are no punctures so it's either a bad bead or the valve stem. It sat on a flat tire all winter so it is now ruined and I have to replace it.

by:

Great product at a great price!!! Came very nicely packaged and was received damage free! Thank you etrailer for your super fast, free shipping!

The new wheels look great Buzzmonkey! etrailer is lucky to have you as a loyal neighbor (customer). What do you mainly haul around in the trailer? And is there a story behind Buzzmonkey?

by:

So far so good! Easy install, shipped fast, and happy with the wheels/tires. Only have 100 miles on them since the install, but seem to be a good replacement.

  • Replacement Wheel and Tire for a 26-Ft. Travel Trailer
Your dry weight and payload come out to 7396 pounds. This being a travel trailer, you probably have two 3500-lb axles. As such, each tire will need to have a capacity of at least 1750 pounds, so the tires will need a load range of C or higher. For your ST205/75D14 tires, we have options for load ranges C and D. However, your current tires are bias, and the only load range D that we have are radial, so C will be our option for you. I recommend the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire...

  • Replacement Wheel and Tire Recommendation for Size F78-14 with Galvanized Wheel
The modern size equivalent for the tire size F78-14 is the size 205/75-14. So for this size on a galvanized wheel Taskmaster Mod Wheel and Tire part # AM3S450. What's great about the Taskmaster tires is that they are rated for higher speeds at 81 mph whereas most are only rated for 65. The tire has a ply rating of 6 and a 1,760-lb max load at 50 psi as well.

  • Recommended Replacement Galvanized Trailer Tire/Wheel Combo for a ST205/75R14 Tire
Hey Wayne, I did some looking around and it does not look like we carry any Endurance tires in the size you're looking for. We do have the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Tire # LH53FR which will work with a ST205/75R15 tire but it's also not galvanized. Instead, I'd recommend checking out the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel # AM3S450 which does have a galvanized wheel, will work as a direct replacement since it's the same size you're looking for,...

Hey Don, The Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM3S450 would be the correct fit but I would double check the load range on your current tires. If you find you have a load range D instead of C then you'll want the Karrier # AM32161 instead.

  • Will This Tire AM3S450 Fit On My Lowes Carry On 5x8 Utility Trailer?
Hey Nathan, Unfortunately there is not a standard size tire that comes on those trailers so I do not have a way of knowing exactly what size is on yours. You would need to measure the pilot diameter of the original wheels or the spindle on the axle to see what size you need. The Loadstar # AM3S450 has a 3.19" pilot diameter. If that matches yours then this will work just fine. You'll have to let me know what you get for your pilot or spindle measurement.

  • What is the Difference Between Bias Tires and Radial Tires
When you are comparing a Bias tire, like part # AM3S450, and a Radial tire, like part # TR20514, the deciding factor on which one to use really comes down to the trailer that the tire will be on and what the trailer is used for. You are right that the Bias tires do have a stiffer sidewall, but that doesn't mean that they are stronger. The strength of a tire comes from the Load Range that it has. The stiffness of the Bias tire makes it better suited for off-road applications like farming....
