This rectangular LED trailer light uses six red LEDs that shine bright while drawing very little power—only 0.040 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs and never need replacing. That means no fragile filaments or dimming over time, just reliable visibility every time you hook up.
Installation is simple with the 2-wire hookup—one power lead and one ground wire. The light mounts directly on the surface using two screws spaced 3" apart on center, so there’s no need for a separate bracket or plate. At 4" long, 1-1/2" tall, and only 15/16" deep, it fits neatly wherever you need a clearance or side marker light.
Built with a red acrylic lens and a tough ABS housing, this light is designed to handle exposure to the elements. The lens and housing are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps out moisture and protects the internal circuit board and diodes from damage.
The built-in reflex reflector removes the need for an additional reflector on your trailer. It provides extra visibility even when the light isn’t on, keeping your setup compliant and easy to maintain without adding extra parts.
This DOT-compliant P2-rated light produces a focused 90-degree beam pattern—45 degrees to each side of centerline—making it ideal as either a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. You get dependable performance that meets lighting standards for safety on the road.

My husband and I refurbished an older aluminum trailer. We ordered practically everything from etrailer. The lights were quality and service is always great.
LED running lights look and work much better than the original ones that came with our Casita travel trailer. Sealing external fixtures with 5200 sealant works and looks much better than silicone sealant and holds up well in all weather conditions.
These led marker lights lined up perfectly for my motor home and are nice and bright. I would recommend not having the lens installed on the body when shipped. Taking apart the light per the video left mars from my screwdriver no matter how careful I was, they are extremely tight.
Product was exactly what I needed to replace my one year old clearance light on my travel trailer.
I've also purchased 2 electronic brake controllers and tech support told me exactly what harness I need each time.

etrailer is my go to place for trailer parts. They do everything right. This light works great and is just what I was expecting. There was one minor problem. This light was the updated LED version of the 8 year old lights that came on my trailer. The lenses were even interchangeable after 8 years.This version has no room for the wires behind the surface mounted light and require a hole through the trailer body exactly where the wires exit the back of the light. This required hole is in a different place than the old lights and required drilling a new hole in the trailer. No big deal, but having enough room to house the wire in the back of the light would be more user friendly.
Easy to mount and work great!
I selected the lights I did because they were LED, they were a size that matched the size of the red reflectors, and because of how bright they are. The LED trailer lights selected were used on the rear bumper of a G3500 Chev Express van where GM had placed red reflectors - above and toward the ends of the license plate. I wanted lights down low in addition to the factory tail lights which are high up the sides. The lights are great. I purchased extra lights in case someone kicks one of them and breaks the red plastic lens, or, to have a set for a new Chev van.
These are perfect replacements for the clearance lights on our RV trailer. They are bright, match to old footprint perfectly, and look even nicer. Every light works.
I replaced two failed incandescent marker lights on my RV with these LED units one year ago and they are working very well. They were a direct replacement and needed no modifications. Like all LEDS, they are best seen when looking directly at them (90º) so be sure to choose your mounting location carefully.

I needed "clearance lights" for my six year old trailer. Looked all over Dallas and could not find an exact match for my 6 year old travel trailer. This used to be a 16 foot travel trailer. I stripped it down to the frame

I ordered a side marker light 6 diodes, the only thing that came in the package is a side marker light lens.
Show the back of the lamp in the sales pitch so people can see what they have to deal with when mounting them. Wire pinching. Same with the ambers. No gasket to seal the mounting area.
Swapped out original incandescent version with led version. Perfect direct replacement. Fast fulfillment. Just great all around.
