Question:

We have three adult bikes what bike rack and trailer hitch. I noticed your recommendation for a 2 bike but do you have one for a 3 bike or 4 bike if it only comes in 2 or 4. Thanks

Let's begin with the hitch. I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13130. This is a concealed crossbar hitch, when installed as shown in the provided photo only the receiver tube and safety chain loops will be visible for a clean look.

If the bikes in question don't have fenders, the RockyMounts WestSlope # RKY10223 would be a good choice. The rack can handle 3 bikes weighing up to 40 lbs each, with tires up to 3 inches wide and wheelbases up to 48 inches. The rack also has an available lock kit, sold separately as part # RKY10224.

If the bikes do have fenders, you'll be better off with a hanging style bike rack like the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63365. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch pin, but a locking pin/cable combo is available separately as part # S64031. For bikes with sharply angled top tubes or women's bikes with step through frames, a frame adapter bar like # 64005 so the bikes are carried level for maximum ground clearance.
