Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2016 Acura RDX

Long-time customer. For my GFs 2016 Acura RDX you have etrailer, Curt, and Drawtite options that are very similar I watched the comparo video. What is the shipping weight of each? Im thinking about the install process as well as the extra weight Im adding to the car. Thx!

The 3 hitches you asked about for your 2016 Acura RDX have the following weights when it comes to shipping:
etrailer - # e24AR - 27 lbs
Curt - # C13130 - 28 lbs
Draw-Tite - # 75784 - 29 lbs
The actual weight of the hitches is going to be a few pounds less since the shipping weight includes shipping materials. These are all going to have the exact same installation process and since the weight is all comparable it really boils down to preference.
For your application I recommend going with the etrailer # e24AR because it has a matte black finish which blends in a little better with black trim on vehicles plus it does a better job at hiding scratches from road debris.
If you're looking for a bike rack then I highly recommend checking out the Yakima EXO Swing Away 2-Bike Rack # Y92VR because it has an integrated swing-away feature so you can gain unrestricted access to the rear cargo area on your RDX, plus you can get different attachments for different activities - so if you wanted to go skiing instead of biking you can swap out the bike rack for the SnowBank # Y57VR and get your skis to the slopes. If you want the best of both worlds then you can also add the TopShelf # Y94VR so you can carry your skis on the base and your bikes on the top.
