Will this adapter work for a Yakima holdup that has a 1 1/4 inch hitch?

I have a solution for adapting your Yakima Holdup # Y02445 for 2" hitches, but the Yakima Holdup is not compatible with the # 8880519 adapter sleeve since this sleeve is meant for use on the Yakima TwoTimer # Y02468. Adapter sleeves can be tricky and universal adapters like the Brophy Hitch Adapter # HTAD reduce the hitch capacity by 50%.

The Yakima Holdup is sold in 1-1/4" # Y02445 and 2" # Y02443 variations. The best way to convert the 1-1/4" to a 2" is to use the replacement tongue # 8880580. This way is also recommended since it includes the updated latching spring pin and does not reduce the weight capacity of your hitch.
