Question:

I am about to get a 2015 Thor A.C.E. 27.1 RV. It has the Ford sway bar on the front but there is none on the back. The unit set level. Am I better off putting air bags in or a sway bar on the rear? And, specifically witch models would you suggest? Thx

The best way to enhance the ride of your 2015 Thor ACE 27.1 which was built on a Ford F-53 chassis is to add a rear anti-sway bar because their placement at the rear of the vehicle allows for the greatest improvement in handling and stability for the vehicle. Air bags offer some support, but won't be as effective at overall handing improvements as a rear anti-sway bar.

After that you can further improve the ride by adding a front anti-sway bar and steering stabilizer; the combination of these three parts will dramatically increase the handling and comfort of your Thor, allowing you to enjoy your time on the road instead of exhaustively attempting to keep your rig centered at all times.

Your 2015 Thor A.C.E. 27.1 has a GVWR of 16,000 lbs, and for this model with that GVWR the correct parts are the following:

- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-146

- Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148

- Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer # RM33RR
