Relatively easy to install. Make sure you have a good torque wrench because you'll need to apply XXXlbs of torque to the nut that attaches it to the leaf spring bracket.

The unit was super easy to install and worked super well..at first. Later, the rubber boot bunched up and the stabilizer didn't work nearly as well. I kind of wished I would have purchased a different type.

Did not help the steering at all
Had this installed along with front & rear sway bars. The rig doesn’t wear me out anymore, I can drive all day long. Just the result I was hoping for.
Makes my steering harder to turn on curves and makes you overcompensate when a truck passes. Wish I could return it, however the return policy states only uninstalled items may be returned. Not sure how you would know if the product worked unless you installed it. Wish I had ordered it on Amazon, then I could return this expensive "stabilizer". Not sure how it got so many good reviews.
I experienced more steering issues with this on.
I had it inspected and reinstalled by three separate installation sites.
I now have it sitting in a cupboard. Waste of money. Major regret

Can you elaborate on what the steering issues were? Was it more stiff or what was it causing to happen?

This bar made driving my RV much more enjoyable,the return to center very helpful
We had to have it removed. It made the motorhome almost impossible to drive. You constantly had to move the steering wheel back and forth to keep it straight on the road.
Super easy to install. I didn’t need an impact driver. I just used a breaker bar and a couple of drops of oil from the dipstick on the u bolt nuts. Drives without needing slots of steering corrections.

This is the best item I have ever bought. Totally changed the motorhome steering. Now it’s very easy to drive and steer. Can drive using one hand used to. Love the steering stabilizer.
Get one, you won't be sorry. I traveled 7250 miles around the US this past summer and the stabilizer performed perfectly keeping the RV from drifting out of lane. This makes driving so much easier. Even in wind gusts the stabilizer was a tremendous aid controlling the RV from lurching left or right. I believe its a good investment.

Its really held up well! I travelled over 7000 miles touring our great United States last summer and keeping the vehicle straight was not a concern. Im really pleased with the stabilizer. It was a good investment!

Works absolutely perfect, cant understand why RV manufacturers dont install from the factory.
Very high quality, great video showing installation process.After installing the adjustment procedure was easy to follow. Handling was greatly improved. Would recommend for any Class A rv.
It was an easy install...by me,(above average mechanical skill).
You don't need to be a "mechanic" to install yourself, again good directions and web page videos to help.
The unit itself does exactly what is advertised, makes steering a little more "stiff" and centers the steering wheel with little effort.
Great product.
I stopped short of 5 stars because the instructions could be a lot clearer.
The motorhome drives so much easier now. I would recommend this if your on the fence.
I will have to wait until next year to install the stabilizer. I had to have the kingpins replaced in the Ford front end at 13,500 miles because parts were left out at the factory. We were not able to use the motorhome much this year.

Still havent used it. I just got the motorhome back with a new steering box. It took over a year to find someone that would check out the steering box. The steering box and kingpins were not set up properly at the factory and had to be replaced at 13,800 miles. Im learning what Fix Or Repair Daily means.

After seeing your comment I reached out to Roadmaster. They said earlier versions of this part didn't have slits that they now come with. They suggested drilling holes to the ribs on each side and then re-adjusting the boot. I hope this fixes the issue!
