Rear View Camera Power for 2018 Keystone Bullet Ultra Lite with Furrion Vision S

Question:

When is power running to the backup camera on my 2018 Keystone Bullet Ultra Lite 202BHSWE? Just plugging it in to the prewired connection is not getting power to it? Do I need to have the 7 way plug connected to my tow vehicle?

Power runs to the backup camera part # FOS05TASF when the trailer is put in reverse. There is a switch in your reverse wiring that trips the camera to turn on. You do have to be plugged into the 7-way on your towed vehicle.

Clayton, I have a Furrion Vision S+ Camera brand 7” display same model. I wired the camera to the (Pre-Wired) camera mount in back of Bullett Ultra Lite 2021 RV and not getting any power even in reverse while connected to truck with 7 Wire plug. Any suggestions? Randy

@RandallB I just learned that I had to turn my lights in (out of auto) and my camera received power and it working. Just had to turn on my headlights manually vs having it in auto.
