Question:

What size bolts are used to install a hitch on a 2018 Rav4? Is it a standard size for most vehicles? Thanks.

Most Vehicles and hitches have their own specific hardware to insure proper fit and towing capacity. Our # C13149 hitch includes a hardware kit and installation guide. I attached a video on the installation for your convenience.

The hardware specs can be found in the installation guide, but the bolts are listed as HHCS,M12x1.25,35,CL10.9,YZ or part number 10-10275 from Curt. The Curt part number for the necessary washer is 30-00149 just in case you need that as well. We sell replacement hardware kits, so I recommend looking at # RHK. On this page you can type in your hitch part number, then select the manufacturer from the drop down menu, and we will ship you a complete hardware kit for that hitch.
