Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt weight distribution conical washer replacement kit. These washers replace lost or damaged conical washers on your Curt weight distribution system. This kit's going to come with four conical washers. They're made from a durable steel construction. Few measurements on these real quick. Your outer diameter is going to be 2 inches.
Diameter of that hole there at the center very close to 7/8 of an inch. Really nice design, strong durable. Again these are going to replace the conical washers that came with your weight distribution system. With this part number you're going to get a total of four. That's going to do it for today's look at the Curt weight distribution conical washer replacement kit..
These washers I purchased for replacement on my load distribution hitch. They worked great. The ones I had on there were several years old and the teeth would no longer grip properly.
I am not sure why I was asked to write a review for washers. Washers are washers. The description was spot on. They work. etrailer shipped them faster than projected. I have used etrailer in the past and will continue to do so. They excel at keeping you in the loop between ordering and delivery.

The weight distribution hitch I have only had the conical washers for the bolt that allows for the hitch to be tilted. I'm adding these to the other bolt mostly for cosmetic purposes. Work and look great.

I bought these Curt conical washers after I'd attempted to tighten up two slightly loose hitch assembly mounting bolts on another manufacturer's weight distribution hitch with a brand new torque wrench (that wasn't 'broken in') and ended up severely over-torqueing the original bolts and crushing the original washers. I wanted to ensure that the replacement components were equal to or better than the original ones for the sake of safety, so I bought these replacement conical washers as well as two suitably sized Grade 8 bolts and nuts. After properly torqueing these new fasteners, the hitch assembly hasn't come loose again and none of the components are showing any signs of corrosion despite being constantly exposed to the weather. Given that - in my technical opinion - the OEM hitch mounting and maintenance instructions called for more torque than Grade 5 bolts should be subjected to, in retrospect I'm actually glad that I ended up having to install these upgraded replacement components.

Conical washers are still working after a year on my weight distribution hitch.
The parts I ordered arrived as promised, will definitely consider using etrailer in the future.
My order was quickly shipped and an email response alerted my that it was on it's way. By comparison, when I contacted the manufacturer about purchasing these replacement washers they never answered my email.

It's kinda weird that you can order one of these washers for $XX or you can get a 4-pack for $XX. It's a toothed 3/4 washer that fits most WDHs. It showed up as advertised.

so far its working like it should, I`ve heard no complaints about it. so all is good.
The product arrived as pictured and described. Unfortunately I didn't see that they were for 3/4". I'll have to find some 1/2 conical washers and order those.
