Question:

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 classic. I just purchased a 6,000 lb trailer with about 900lbs of tongue weight. I had the dealer install a Recurve R3 WDH and it works great, but I am thinking about adding some airbags to improve the ride. Also my rear still sags some with the WDH. I’ve seen a lot of recommendations on the sight but I still don’t understand the differences in the Airlift systems. EG why is an airlift 5,000 bettor or necessary when my max payload is 1500lbs. What is the difference between the air lift 1,000 and air lift 1000HD.

Since you are wanting more support to improve ride quality I actually would not recommend an air bag kit as they are notoriously pretty harsh when inflated. They provide great support but when in use the support is not as soft as what "air bag" might imply. So instead the best solution is a SumoSprings # SSR-307-40 which will give you a softer support.
