Heavy trailers, campers, or bed loads can make the back of your truck sag and the front lift, throwing off handling and headlights. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 6,000 lbs of load-leveling support using hollow rubber springs that sit above the rear axle. They work with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level, maintain steering control, and improve braking confidence when towing or hauling heavy gear.
These Aeon hollow rubber springs start soft and get firmer as the load increases. Light loads ride comfortably with plenty of suspension travel, while heavier loads compress the springs into a stacked shape that adds stiffness right when it’s needed most. The design soaks up bumps and road shock to reduce bounce and extend the life of your suspension components.
Each spring acts on its own side of the vehicle to handle uneven or off-center loads. When you swerve, turn sharply, or get hit with a gust of wind from a passing semi, the springs help keep body roll in check and reduce trailer sway. That means more control through curves and better stability on highways or rough terrain.
This system replaces your factory bump stops with custom-fit brackets and rubber springs that bolt to existing frame points—no drilling required. Once installed, there are no airlines to run or adjustments to make. The durable rubber springs automatically engage as weight is added, so you get consistent support without any upkeep or air pressure checks.

These things are amazing. I bought a bigger boat and I didn’t want my truck sagging. I hooked up and my Ram is standing tall!!!
I think the product is good. Just wish there was a little more guidance on which one to get. I went with the 6000# bump stops and they are way too firm. Wish I would have done the 3000#. Live and learn!
Was worried about the ride with empty payload. But was very good a little stiffer when hit a bigger bump or hole. Kept the sway down when pulling a boat though the mountains. Very easy to put on less than 10 minutes took longer to get the truck raised up to put on.
The product arrived quickly. On our previous truck I used air springs for truck/trailer leveling, but went with Timbren's for our 2020 Ram 1500 due to lower cost and ease of installation (compared to air springs) on the Ram 1500. I did not regret this choice. The install did not take over 15 minutes using a floor jack and inverted trailer hitch stinger to lift the rear end. The factory bump stops wiggled out easily and the Timbrens went went in perfectly, using the instructional videos. Following the directions for the adjustable hitch(also purchased through trailer), the Timbrens handled the load perfectly and the truck was perfectly level from back to front and handled well. We have since sold the trailer, but decided to leave the Timbrens in, but know they can be removed easily and the factory bump stops put back in. You do sacrifice a little ride "softness", but I don't mind.We live in a a rocky area and frequently have loads in the back of the truck. I was very satisfied with this purchase and have used this company many times for my hitch and trailer towing needs and will continue to do so.
Works exactly like advertise. We’re totally recommend for hauling a camper.

The installation videos were very helpful. It took some effort to get them in the correct position but have worked out well so far. It actually has made the truck ride with less motion going down the highway.
wish id put these on years ago. My truck handles so much better in many different ways. put them on and forget about it. My son in law has air shocks which perform similarly but are more expensive and must be handled every time he puts a load on his truck
Purchased the Timbren suspension system to minimize the squat of my 2021 quad cab Ram 1500 and to also minimize the porpoising effect while towing our travel trailer over some roadways. The system was very easy to install per instructions as I was really excited to start towing our trailer. This product did the job as advertised minimizing the squat by and inch before the distribution hitch as well as minimizing the porpoising. That's where the good part ends and the harshness of the ride begins. Where once we could hold a conversation while towing, we cannot with the Timbren system installed. Even without the trailer attached, my truck rides very harshly and can feel every crack in the road.
I'm glad I kept the OEM bumpers as I will be reinstalling them. And since they were installed and used, I'll have to try and sell them on market place.
Lesson learned. I cannot recommend this product for use with travel trailers, but I could see a use for construction companies.
Installed easy in about 15 minutes. Popped the stock bump cushions out by hand and followed the installation instructions. Going to be on the road with my trailer soon and am looking forward to the additional support for my suspension.
Super easy to install on my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. Followed the directions and watched a YouTube video and they were installed super easy. Product does exactly as it says, took out a small sag in my truck when i had my 5th Wheel loaded. The new ride with a load is excellent and without a load its the same as stock. Great Product!
I first started by jacking up the bed about 4" then I got under it yanked out the small factory ones, so easy. Then put some silicone on the new ones, wiggled them in place and just to make sure they were seated properly I added couple pieces of wood under them and let the jack down. Took it for a test drive over a really bad bumpier road and to my amazment I was completely satisfied .got back home and looked under it and their about a 1/2" of clearance . Still after the test drive I'm satisfied doing this prep job before I pick up my new 5th wheel . Thanks
These are great. The install was just as easy as stated. Two points to keep in mind. Use the soapy water trick and the 2x4 pieces. I was able to install in less than 15 minutes. I connected my 34' travel trailer and there was only about 1 inch of squish versus the 6 inches with the old ones. I am looking forward to our next camping trip. I am towing with a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic (Warlock). Thank you for a great product.
Fixed the sag in the rear of my 2014 RAM 1500 when towing. I have a 6,000# open car trailer I take to the race track, and with the Timbrens installed the truck rides much better under load. I agree with others that it stiffens up the ride when empty, but not too harsh at all. Rides like my old F350 when empty. But with the trailer hitched up there’s no more front-end lift or bounce. Exactly what I needed

The product came very fast. I already installed it the same day on my 2009 Dodge Ram pickup. It looks like it should do a fantastic job. I'll know better when I hitch up my travel trailer.

It has been doing great towing my travel trailer. No sag.
They Definitely made a difference, my 1/2 ton truck handles our 6,500 camper nicely. The ride is rough when you’re on a rough road but it’s only when you have a lot of weight! I would buy them again .
They were easy to install. I tried them out by hooking up my trailer with my tractor on it. Definitely made for a smoother ride. With no load I didn’t even notice they were installed.
I was very impressed with the easy installation and
the performance of the product.
I can easily put a 1 yard of top soil in my Ram 1500
and my truck carry it level , no problem. No more snag
In the rear. I also find towing a trailer much better. No worries about blowing air bags, this product is maintenance free. Love it, it simple and it works great. Highly recommend

Great product, works well and easy to install
The Timbren SES has worked out well when pulling my Toy Hauler, which is spec'd at 957 lbs hitch weight-I also use a weight distributing hitch. The Timbren SES keeps the truck from squatting and provides a much better driving experience than without them. They were easy to install and feel completely stock until a load is applied.

It definitely helped keep my rear from squatting with the RV trailer attached. Other than very bumpy roads, you would never know the difference on normal driving. The ride with RV attached is a bit more stiff and bumpy, but I'd rather have that than a constantly bumpy/harsh ride with HD coil springs, and it does the job reducing the squat to none. especially for the price difference, I am totally satisfied. They took 20 minutes to install.

My truck (2015 RAM 1500) does not squat when hauling heavy loads or towing a trailer!
That's because I took 15 minutes and installed the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System. 6000 lb. rating!
I installed it before our last two-week camping trip of the year, and it was awesome!
Before installation, my front wheel well would measure 37", and my rear was 36" when I hooked up my APEX 30' camper. After installation, my front wheel measured 37", and my rear measured 37-1/4"
So far I love it and I have extended the life of my truck for towing this camper.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System is working perfectly. With all the camping we do, with these installed, I am not putting stress on my coil-spring suspension. Yes, my truck feels like a 2500, but it let me keep my paid-off truck and avoid buying a new one.
Took them out almost immediately. Way too much bounce. Installed air bags. Much better. Would have returned them if I thought I could have.
This rating is for installation and fit. Product was a perfect fit and installation was easy, took less than a 1/2 hour to install on Ram 1500. I have not towed my travel trailer yet with the timbren rear SES bumps.
So far, an easy solution to the problem of sagging, with minor impacts on the ride. Delivery was quick, installation videos helpful, and the installation itself was straightforward.
Great upgrade when pulling our 6500lb travel trailer. Helps with sag and control on the road on our Ram 1500. Change the stock shocks and if you choose, upgrade your stock springs, and you'll get the most out of your half ton.

Timbrens are the best for sag because they are made of dense rubber. 6500 lbs sounds like one heck of a travel trailer, what is it? Any fun plans this summer?
