Question:

I see there are a couple of options for timbren suspension on my 2019 Ram 1500 but I'm not sure which one is the right option. Is there a difference or how do you choose which one to go with?

If you have a 2019 Ram 1500 that is the standard pick-up truck, the correct Timbren system is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DQ, which were designed for standard trucks.

The difference between these and the Timbren System # TDRTT1500 is that the latter is made for service trucks, like a tow truck. The reason for this is the design of the springs; if you take a look at the accompanying photo a customer sent in, you can see they are double convoluted, which means they have more give and are going to result in a less stiff overall ride.

So for the majority of people with standard 2019 Ram 1500's (including the 1500 Classic), the correct choice is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DQ, though keep in mind these fit all models except Regular Cab and those with the factory Air Suspension system (there is not a Timbren system that fits those models).
