Question:

I have a 2022 Ram Bighorn,4wd, 1500, CrewCab, 6’4 bed and I pull a travel trailer which has a GVWR of 8,721 pounds. Would Timbren with a 8,600 pound or 6,000 pound rating be best for my truck?

I would be happy to help you and have a great suggestion for upgrading your suspension when towing your trailer but I do not recommend either Timbren set for your 2022 Ram 1500. TImbren's will give you a stiff and bouncy ride when you are not towing. I typically only recommend them on trucks that have a work body on the bed. To add some support to the rear of your truck I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs item # SSR-307-47. These have a 1,500 lbs capacity which will be more than enough support for your 8,700 lbs trailers tongue weight and any cargo you may have in the bed of your truck.

The Sumosprings have progressive load control which causes them to compress according to the weight of your cargo. When you are driving around without your trailer you won't notice them at all unless you hit a very large bump. Timbren's are a huge piece of rubber that are essentially a giant bump stop and you will bounce like a basketball when you do not have your rear end weighed down by your trailer.
