Question:

According to your expert the Curt hitch is a better product than the draw tight model. However when I click in the link it says it is not recommended for the Palisade but the Kia Telluride. Please help, I am confused.

Curt does make really great trailer hitch and we do recommend them highly. We have a fit for your 2020 Hyundai Palisade too with the part # C13427 but the part number you mentioned is not a fit. This is a mostly hidden trailer hitch with plenty of towing capacity. Check out the install picture and video link I attached to this page as well.

For trailer wiring the easiest to install option is the part # CU94FR.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

For your vehicle there isn't a direct 7-way trailer wiring harness so you would have to start with a 4-way like I mentioned with the # 118784. Then to convert to a 7-way the # 37185 would work great. If plan was to also install a brake controller you'd instead want the # ETBC7.
