Question:

What is the height of the hitch ball for this receiver? I know that Stealth model, which is much more expensive, is designed for 18” coupler height. Thank you.

The Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Package part # 391HYUNPALIS19T is designed with a ball mount that is 18" from the ground on the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. They test fit their hitches so that the ball mount is 18" from the ground because that is the most common coupler height. It sounds like your boat trailer will be perfectly level with the ball mount that comes with the Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch for the Palisade.

The best feature about the Stealth hitch is that it's completely concealed behind the rear bumper. When the hitch is not in use you can detach the ball mount for storage and you won't be able to see the hitch at all. I have attached a photo for your reference with and without the ball mount on a Palisade.

We have not yet had a chance to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13427 on a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Curt does not design all of their hitches to have the same ground clearance like Stealth does. The Curt hitch also do not have a designated ball mount for the hitch so you would need to purchase that separately. Since you don't have the hitch yet the only way I can really have you measure for rise/drop is to measure from the very bottom of the rear fascia down to the ground. The hitch will sit flush with the rear fascia. That should give you an idea of which ball mount you will need to tow level with the 18" coupler height. I have attached a helpful article to measure the rise or drop you may need.
