Wiring a trailer often means tapping into factory wires, but this harness avoids that. The Curt T-Connector plugs inline with the tail light connectors to create a 4-flat trailer plug. There’s no splicing or wire tracing, so setup is clean and simple.
Factory tail light circuits aren’t built to handle trailer load, and that’s where the powered converter comes in. It uses a dedicated hot lead that runs to the vehicle battery so the trailer lights pull power directly from the source, not through the tail light wiring. This keeps your vehicle circuits protected while ensuring full brightness for running, brake, and turn signals.
The integrated 4-pole flat connector gives you the standard lighting functions—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It’s the universal plug used on most small and mid-size trailers, so you can hook up right away without adapters.
Once installed, the trailer connector is stored outside the vehicle. You can loop it to the safety chain openings with its dust cap or mount it permanently using a bracket setup for a tidy, fixed connection point. Either way, it stays protected and ready when it’s time to tow.

Easy to insta;l and worked first time and every time.
Happy with the product. the only problem was at the box was pretty banged up. Lost some paint on the actual hitch. And it was a shame because I really want the product to arrive during the following mid week. End up having to stay home after I found the out the process going to be coming in that Friday. I was told they'll be coming in mid week by the sales person.
I thought the return process was right pricey. I got a hitch and harness delivered in two days on ups which was great! Sadly the replacement part took much longer as it went USPS. I was in a hurry
Worked perfectly, and was a seamless setup and installation.
Installed on a 2024 Palisade. It works well. The most difficult part was running and concealing the power feed from the battery compartment back to the rear of the vehicle.

I installed the harness yesterday with no problems at all. After the installation I hooked up to a small utility trailer and all functions worked properly.
Install was easy
I’m a 77 y/o man. I installed the trailer hitch and wiring harness on my 2024 Hyundai Palisade with the vehicle on the ground. My wife helped by handing me things while I was under the vehicle. I first watched the etrailer how-to videos and installation was fairly easy. After dropping the muffler, I placed the hitch over the tail pipe and used a foot stool to support the hitch on the muffler side while I loosely installed the bolts on the driver side. The only difficulty I encountered was removing the muffler hanger near the side of the vehicle. Thank you etrailer for your videos.

This product is excellent! I recommend using heat shrink butt connectors and heat shrink tubing. This product is perfect!
Went together pretty much as advertised with a little fishing the harness through the frame and in particular the power wire up to the battery.
Simple installation. Great video. Took less than 2 hours. Saved $100s.
Easy installation
Found out after the sale about some factory issues with a trailer wiring harness so I installed this one on my Palisade. Easy install and no issues whatsoever after 1 year. I tow a jon boat and have a utility trailer so it gets used all the time. Recommend for any Palisade owners.

Easy to install with it's plug and play feature for the Palisade.
It was an easy install. But for future reference I would suggest using weatherproof butt connectors and wire rings.
