Question:

I am looking to mount ARB-814404 Awning - 6.5foot x 8.2foot onto my Yakima OverHaul HD truck rack. Would this work? If so what T slot mounting system would I need?

Since we don't sell ARB products, I'm unable to tell you with any certainty whether or not you can make this work; Yakima also doesn't test their products with other manufacturers. If you're trying to use the T-slot mounting channel on your Yakima Overhaul HD system # Y01151-58, you'll need to use whatever T-slot hardware that ARB has available; the T bolt heads Yakima uses are roughly .7" square. If you're wanting to use a clamp on setup, the Yakima HD bars are 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall, so as long as the clamps would fit on a bar that dimension you'd be good to go.

If you don't already have the awing, it's probably best to go with one that is guaranteed to be compatible with the Overhaul HD system like the Yakima Slim Shady # Y36VR. The Slim Shady has 42 sq/ft of coverage, so it'll provide a nice sized shaded area and it attaches to your existing HD bars without any issues.
