One year later review. I’ve had no issues with this awning. It is mounted on my overland teardrop trailer on an old Yakama round bar rack. It is equal quality to an awning I bought for my Tacoma from another brand, but almost three times more expensive. My takeaway: quality + low price = win.
We recently installed the Slim Shady on our 2018 Forester, with the exception of one of the support legs twisted so tightly that I had to struggle to get it to release the install was straight forward. We haven't used it yet but are looking forward to our road trip this summer.
Got my order 2 days early!! Packaged well and had it installed in about 20 min. Works great!!

I put the awning on my T@G camper and it has worked out great. I have used it a lot and have had zero issues with the awning. I put it up and down by myself and it takes less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this product!!

The service and product from these folks was fantastic. Easy to deal with.
Love that it mounts to my roof crossbars and it is out of the way so I can use my crossbars for other gear. Love the size but a little difficult for me to set up; take down is easier by myself. Will need leg tie-downs or weights. As an older female, it is pretty heavy to lift above my head and mount on the crossbars myself but it can be done. Took it on my almost 4,000 mile trip this summer, didn’t end up using it but was glad to have it just in case. It is nice to use in conjunction with my camping trailer awning, too. Great product for the price.
I put it on a New Camp teardrop trailer with a Yakima roof rack. Fits perfectly!

I’m a Yakima user for many years, this seems to be on par with everything else they make. Which is top notch. It was easy to install and easy to use. Might need two sets of hands on a windy day. But so far I love it.
Bought for my 2021 nucamp tag and love it. Quick and easy setup and provides an awesome place to just sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. Easy installation and quality build. This is for sure a great product.
Excellent service, my awning is working well and has held up well. I have used retailer several times and spoken to their customer service and they helped me save money.
I sent this item back to you because when it arrived it was partially out of the box and it was apparent it had been someone else's return as it was just shoved back into the box with no care. When I sent it back to you I advised to cancel the order, and that I would source one from a different vendor. The next day you advised a new one had been reshipped requiring me to make several phone calls back to you to cancel this order before it was delivered to me. Fortunately, you were able to intercept the order while it was still close to your home city. I was not pleased with this transaction and felt that in your desire to get things shipped out, you cut corners on the quality of packaging and due care to send out the item in a new and undamaged condition. I also feel your customer service is lacking in that you do not listen to the customer. This was evidenced by having to talk with several individuals to repeat the same message several times for the return, and to get the new unsolicited order cancelled.
Fast service and product arrived within a couple days of ordering.

It appears to be well made. I ADJUSTED the installaton three time.
The rubber gasket to hold the poles is not adequate.
