Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement clamp assembly for the Yakima OverNOut Rollout Awning. This part here will replace the whole clamp assembly on your Yakima OverNOut Rollout Awning. That awning we sell separately. It goes by a part number of Y07409. And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm popping up an insert.

There's what that OverNOut Awning would look like. Now, basically, this clamp assembly attaches to that awning and then allows you to clamp the awning to your roof crossbars. And again, another insert would show you how this looks when it's clamped to the crossbars. Basically, what you would do is just spin this and slide this open as far as you need to put it onto the crossbars. Once it's on there, then just turn this and you can see it'll tighten down and snug up to hold your awning to the crossbars.

Now this is for a quantity of one clamp assembly. But that should do it for a look at this replacement clamp assembly for your Yakima OverNOut Rollout Awning.

Excellent product! Allows for a low profile install. Mounts have been on my truck for a year now and no issues.

One of the two assemblies shipped without any of the included hardware.

These are decent replacement clamps, high quality, and compatable with Yakima’s lock cores.

However, these lack security, thus the one star review. Yes they do accept the Yakima lock cores but theres nothing keeping someone from loosening the exposed hex bolt, which secures the bracket to the clamp assembly, and sliding it out. I’ll never truly feel that my awning wont be stolen.

Everyone makes mistakes, but when a company fixes them as fast as etrailer, that saids alot. I ordered two Yakima clamps and the hardware to install my Yakima slim shady. One of the clamps did not come with the original packaging. I contacted etrailer and they had it shipped out fast. I received the clamp within three days, just in time for our be camping trip! Thank you etrailer and I will be shopping with you again, real soon

I needed a small (4.5' wide) awning for my truck. Most awnings come with L brackets to attach to your rack. I wanted something that was more secure, looked better, and provided easy on/off.

Your product was excellent … an exact match for the "Yakima" product. I only wish that I could have bought just the small barrel bolt adjust mechanism located within the plastic clamp housing, which came loss and fell out sometime alone the way, rather than having to buy the entire plastic assemble unit. The adjustment bolt is the one thing that is mostly likely to be lost over time. Delivery of the product was vary expedient.

I've been looking for an easy on easy off bracket for my rooftop tent. This product fits the bill. I was tired of wrenching down nuts in an awkward position. This product allows for easy tightening. In addition, my roof top rails are an oval shape and most rooftop tent brackets accommodate either round or square rails. This bracket provide a firm tight grip on my oval rails.

Item was broken out of the box. I contacted etrailer and was told there is no warranty. I was offered the ability to buy another at full cost which is ridiculous. Do not buy any products from etrailier or you will be at risk on your own..

when I assembled my awning for the first time I noticed the seam was unravelling where it was sown. I have photographed the damage and will be sending the photo in order to get the fabric replaced. Otherwise, everything was in good order.

    Hi Mike; we have confirmation that the # 8880736 will fit Roam awnings but it hasn't been tested on a 99 CVT Pioneer so I can't guarantee it will fit. There is no adapter unless you want to have one custom fabricated. I attached a diagram below which shows the spacing so if that lines up with your awning it will likely work. You might try asking CVT if they have heard of anyone using this for their awning. You would also need the # 8880737 to mount it on the crossbars.

    Hello, and thanks for reaching out. That is an interesting question so I ran it by my contact at Yakima. The only form of security they offer for the OverNOut clamps are the SKS lock cores and keys. There is no other product for adding security to the awning. A tamper-proof bolt is a good idea but we would not offer anything that could be used for that purpose. Yakima also does not recommend using anything other than the included hardware since this would void your warranty.
