what air bags would i need for 2003 hurricane fronts with gas engine
asked by: Gerald F
Expert Reply:
For your 2003 Four Winds Hurricane built on a Ford F-53 chassis, we have a Firestone and an Air Lift option for the front airbags.
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2070 will fit vehicles with a GVWR between 16,000 and 22,000 lbs but it will not fit Thor Motorhome models.
The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers part # AL88140 is designed for vehicles with a GVWR less than 26,000 lbs.
Both kits have a capacity of 5,000 lbs and will require drilling as per the attached installation instructions.
