Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident: Up to 5,000 lbs of Front-Axle Support

When a heavy load up front starts to weigh your suspension down, handling and braking can take a hit. The LoadLifter 5000 air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep your vehicle level and steady. That means better steering response, more consistent braking, and proper headlight aim even with serious weight on board. By taking the strain off your factory suspension, you get a smoother, safer ride without bottoming out or sagging under load.

Dial In Your Ride: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Every load is different, and these air springs let you fine-tune support for what you’re carrying. You can inflate each spring independently for front-to-rear or side-to-side leveling so uneven loads don’t throw you off balance. With easy-access manual inflation valves—typically mounted on the bumper—you can set pressure anywhere from 5 psi to 100 psi for the right mix of comfort and control. Add a compressor system with in-cab gauges (sold separately) if you want automatic adjustments on the fly.

Built Tough for Heavy-Duty Use: Reinforced Rubber and Zytel Endcaps

The LoadLifter 5000 system is made for demanding use with 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber air bags built to handle big loads. Each bag uses high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than steel, so you avoid the rust and air leaks that can plague metal-capped designs. Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates protect the bags from wear and increase their load capacity for reliable performance mile after mile.

Smooths Out the Ride: Reduces Sway and Road Shock

Heavy cargo doesn’t have to mean a rough ride. These air springs absorb bumps and road shock to keep your vehicle stable on uneven pavement or during braking and turns. By leveling out the suspension, they reduce sway and help distribute weight evenly across all four wheels so your tires wear evenly and your handling feels consistent whether loaded or unloaded.

Straightforward Installation: Ready for the DIYer

Designed to mount between your frame and leaf springs, this kit includes everything needed—two air springs, mounting brackets, hardware, tubing, and manual inflation valves. Many setups require no drilling at all, making driveway installs simple with hand tools. Once installed, just inflate to your desired pressure and go knowing you’ve upgraded your suspension with a system built for real work.

Great now that it is installed correctly installer made many mistakes airlift assisted with replacement parts and I reinstalled myself since then everything has been fine thanks

by:

Works great, takes away a lot of jarring and smooths it out.

by:

Amazing!!! They said "Deliver Friday" It arrived Wednesday!!! The other companies sat on their thumbs for a week. etrailer is Amazing & I will shop with them Forever. I was able to complete Initial Assembly this evening, & I am ready to install tomorrow! ThanX!!!

by:

Best suspension modification that I have done on my motorhome. When the wind gets up, I go up on the air and stiffen the suspension, much less sway. Much.

by:

Every thing that I received was as advertised I installed it with no problems, so far its doing what its supposed to do.

by:

Have not installed the air lift kit yet, I'm sure it will be just as expected, As far as etrailer is rated, their rating is a 10, the product arrived supper fast, even with this pandemic going on. Thanks !!

by:

Works as intended. No problem installing it and over a year of use performer's flawlessly in a class A RV front end.

by:

Made Front suspension feel much Softer
Would
recommended it

by:

Jaime recommended the Air Lift LoadLifter air helper springs for my RV. I was unsure if they would be a good replacement but they work better, costs less than the other guys and delivered quicker than expected. Our RV trips have been enjoyable and smooth since we had these springs installed. I would definitely recommend this product and ETrailer for their customer service.

by:

The installation went smoothly. The only modification I have to make was in the upper mounting bracket. As seen in the photo, I had to relieve the inner edge to clear a motor mount bolt. This did not affect the integrity of the bracket. Had to remove the rubber jounce block on each side, this was not so easy as this is a 1994 Pace Arrow, so the bolts had been rusting for 28 years!! I am checking not for a small air leak but looks like this installation will be successful.

by:

Unfortunately, this does not fit my class a F 53 motorhome. I called and spoke to Joanne and she was very pleasant and I’m going to return these. I wished it would have fit. I will call Firestone and airlift on Monday to see if they make one for my motorhome. You have excellent service at E trailer. I just installed on my Tesla plaid the bumper hitch. We also ordered one and have it to install on my friends, Tesla plaid. We should do that tomorrow. I also installed the air bags on my 1997 Ford van and they are excellent

Thank you again for terrific products and excellent customer service!

I own a 32 ft class A RV. before I put the airbags on I didn't even like to drive it and I drive a semi for a living. It handled terrible.
With the front and back airbags that I added made it very stable and now it's a pleasure to drive.

Super easy install

Glad to hear it, David! Have you had the chance to test these out yet? Would definitely like to hear your feedback on them!

by:

The product looks fine and is in place. However, there is a small leak in one of the lines that is extremely slow and difficult to find. Better tubing and connectors would be good.

After one year of use on my Motor Hone, the air cushions are performing well and seem to hold air just fine. The ride has improved and we dont have the banging when going over rough spots in the road. Great product!

  • Air Lift vs Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement for a 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 36E
Thanks for reaching out James! I recommend using the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57140 for the front of your 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 36E as opposed to the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFFF53B. The Timbrens are nice because you don't have to maintain them after the installation but they tend to be pretty stiff and don't do as good of a job providing actual cushion to the ride quality. The air bags can be adjusted to what you feel is the best ride quality...

  • Recommended Air Bags for a 2007 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome on a Ford F-53 Chassis
Your 2007 Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome is on a Ford F-53 chassis therefore I recommend using the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57140 for the front and part # AL57410 for the rear. The airbags are going to do an excellent job of reducing strain on your suspension, improving ride quality, and increasing overall stability. If you need an air compressor then I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs part # AL74000. In regards to the...

  • Air Bag Installation Kit for a 2003 Four Winds Thor 32R on a Ford F-53 Chassis
Yes, as you may know the 2003 Four Winds Thor 32R was built on a Ford F-53 chassis. Therefore, in order to install airbags on this chassis. You would want to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57140 for the front and part # AL57410 for the rear. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 will help level your motorhome, improving braking and ride comfort while reducing the strain on your factory suspension. • Recommended Air Pressure for Air Bags on 2000 F-53 Chassis Motorhome
There is no exact air pressure setting for your # AL57140. Since they're at 50 psi right now and you're on rough roads I would go ahead and increase the pressure to see how that impacts the ride quality. The minimum is 5 psi and the maximum is 100 psi so you have quite a bit of room to play with over the 50 psi you're at now. As a general rule, air helper springs will support approximately 40 lbs of load for each psi of inflation pressure per pair. At 50 psi you have 2,000 lbs of additional...
