Is there a mounting plate for the electrical plate that needs to be ordered with this hitch? I have a 2001 Chevy 3500 dually and would like to confirm that this hitch is correct.

The Curt trailer hitch part # C15312 that you referenced doesn't have trailer wiring mounting brackets as typically the truck this is installed on has a cutout or opening on the bumper for wiring to attach to. But if you had an aftermarket bumper maybe and needed a bracket the part # PK12711U can attach to your rear bumper so that the 7-way can mount.
