Recommended Suspension Upgrades for 2020 Tiffin Wayfarer to Help Fight Sway

Hello, We just bought a 2020 wayfarer on sprinter 3500 chassis. The original sway bar is 1 3/8” diameter. What up grades do you recommend to stabilize sway. I’m considering sumo 54’s and better shocks and am open to a 1 1/2” sway bar if it would make a difference over original 1 3/8” bar. Thanks,

In order to minimize sway on your 2020 Wayfarer Class C, I recommend starting with the Roadmaster # RM-1209-131 since sway begins at the rear of the coach. Adding a rear sway bar is, in most cases, the quickest and most common way to combat sway that is experienced from passing trucks and wind gusts-it's usually the first upgrade that owners go with on the coach. This rear-sway bar has a 1-1/2" diameter and is made from a stronger and thicker steel than the stock 1-3/8" sway bar currently on your coach, so it's really going to add some overall strength to the setup.
Once you've added a sway bar, jounce springs like the SumoSprings # SSR-338-54 you mentioned are a great way to further help minimize sway on your coach. These springs will also upgrade your vehicle's rear suspension for improved driver control and comfort, plus help to absorb bumps and road shock. I love that these are maintenance free and easy to install, so they're a great choice for your coach.
We don't currently offer any shocks that will fit on your 2020 Tiffin Wayfarer Class C and adding them with these components already added to the system might not provide a noticeable difference; since they're usually a fairly expensive solution you may just want to wait and see how much sway has been reduced with these solutions, then go from there.
