Published 02/19/2020 >
Question:
Hi , I am wondering why some of the trailer hitch does not fit the 6 foot bed and only 8 foot? Some models looks more like the one i am looking for but every time it says not for 6 foot, can you help? Thanks

The available frame area for a hitch to install on a 1966 Chevy C10 is different between the short and long bed trucks which is why the hitches don't fit both. So you'd need the Curt # C14082 which is a confirmed fit for the short bed truck like you have which has high towing capacities as well at 10,000 lbs.
