No need to mess with packing bearings or installing seals. This Lippert hub-and-drum assembly comes pre-greased and includes the inner bearing (25580), outer bearing (02475), and grease seal (GS2250DL) already in place. With everything prepped from the start, you can bolt it on and get back to towing faster, without the greasy cleanup that usually comes with hub work.
When you’re pulling serious weight, you need gear that can take it. This assembly fits Lippert 8,000-lb axles and supports up to 4,000 lbs per hub. Its solid iron construction gives it the strength and durability you want when hauling heavy loads, with the braking surface area to handle the demands of both electric and hydraulic drum brakes.
With its 12-1/4" diameter x 4" drum, this hub provides the proper surface area for your brake shoes to grip when the brakes are applied. That means solid, consistent braking performance every time. It’s a dependable setup that keeps your braking smooth and predictable over the long haul.
Designed with a 2.722" hub bore, this assembly works with a threaded grease cap for a secure, service-friendly fit. That makes adding grease or checking the hub straightforward, so you can stay on top of maintenance without extra hassle.
The 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 9/16" diameter x 1-5/16" long studs give you a tight, reliable wheel connection. It’s a proven setup that holds up well under load and keeps your wheels tracking true mile after mile.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"
