Does Camco Wave 6 RV Heater Require Regulated Propane

Question:
Do I need a regulator to connect a 16 oz propane cylindar to my wave 6. I want to use my wave 6 as a backup heater I. My 25 ‘ RV Trailer if I do not have sufficient battery power to run my built in heater fan .

The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs # CAM57341 is not designed to run off of unregulated propane. It needs LP gas which is regulated to 11 inches of water column. So you would need a regulator like the part # CAM57703 that you also referenced.
