Question:
I have to run about 15 feet of hose from the Wave 6 to the propane tank. I will be using a three way splitter as Ill be adding two more appliances to the tank each hose will have a regulator. I will be using this heater only occasionally in an RV. Is there anything I need to take into account other than having a good regulator on the hose? Thanks!

Hey Elizabeth. Not sure how your RV is setup but you can only run one regulator per line/appliance. The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs item # CAM57341 does not have one but if you put two regulators on the same propane setup you barely get any propane going through.
What kind of RV do you have and does it have a built in propane system?

Note: I need to check the stove to see if it already has its own regulator.

The stove I am installing is the Furrion 7500BTU RV Chef Collection Gas Cooktop with 3x Gas Burners and it does have a safety cut-off valve and LP regulator to automatically shut down or lower the gas to prevent fire hazards.

Got it. Thanks so much. Just to be safe, I will have a propane tech take a look at everything!

I actually have a converted ambulance so I have been putting all of the systems in myself. Basically, I will have a tank that will be used for my on demand hot water heater, my stove and the Wave 6 (which I hope to need only occasionally as I will be following the weather). I do have a three way splitter so since those do exist, how are they typically used? I might consider adding a designated propane tank just for the heater but there is a space issue. What about adding shut off valves of some kind?
