Took some time before writing to evaluate product. Works as expected. Darn good back up for power outages and extra warmth. -17°F outside of tiny home 65+°F in with addition of small amount of grid electric. Likely would have kept up by its self. Condensation occurs so ventilation is essential for that as well as safe operation.

Review from a similar Wave Heater in RV Heaters

Started with the Wave 3. Too small for my application. 18' inside length toy hauler. Ended up buying the larger Wave 6. Couldn't return the first one after hooking it up and trying it. Get a larger size than what Camco's application chart recommends. Pros: No battery drain. Works OK. Cons: Less heat than expected. No thermostat, so it's either "on" or "off". Set off the smoke detectors first 3-4 times of use. I mounted the Wave 6 to a TV articulated mount so I could point the heat where I needed it and stow it out of the way when not in use. I made my own custom cover out of vinyl to fit around the mount.

Review from a similar Wave Heater in RV Heaters

Have not yet installed, nor used my new heater. I have however used these extensively in the past and have confidence this one will work as well. They are great for heating an rv. We had to remove a furnace from our older motor home as there were no parts for it and no newer furnace would fit so decided on the olympian Wave 3, it's going to fit perfect.

Ask the Experts about this Camco RV Heaters

  • What is Needed to Use Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater
I do not know the propane line you have to know if you can use it, but I can tell you the correct hose for the Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Small RVs # CAM57341. What you will need to use is the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator # CAM57703, which will connect from the fitting on the heater directly to a propane tank with a Type 1 male connector. It can't be double regulated so it will need to go directly to the tank.

  • Recommended Camco Olympian Heater for 33 Foot Long 5th Wheel Trailer
The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs # CAM57341 is a good choice for heating up to 230 square feet of space, but it sounds like you're likely going to be better off with the Camco Olympian Wave 8 Catalytic Safety Heater for Large RVs # CAM57351 which can heat up to 290 square feet. Considering that you're not heating the bedroom and keeping door closes the Wave 8 should be more than enough to keep everything warm. These units work of propane gas, can be wall...

  • What is Low Pressure for Regulator for Camco Olympian Wave 6 Heater
For the Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater # CAM57341, a low-pressure regulator is designated as 11" w.c. (water column), as you can see in the accompanying cut outs I added. You can go from a hose to the furnace with the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator with 6' Long Hose # CAM57703, which has the Type 1 male fitting to connect to the heater and a 3/8 Inch - Female Flare fitting on the other end of the hose, though I'm not sure which connection your pipe has so if you...

The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater # CAM57341 does have specific requirements for you to be able to keep it on, at night or otherwise. • 1965 Aristocrat Mainliner Space Heater Options
We have the Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs # CAM57341 that would work great. Since it uses propane as a power source it's very efficient and also puts out quite a bit of heat. I attached a review video link for this for more info for you to check out too. For a space heater that plugs into a standard wall outlet instead we have the part # AR64409 that draws 1,500 watts.

  • Using More than One Camco Olympian Wave 6 Heater in RV that is 27 Feet Long
The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs # CAM57341 is ideal for campers that are up to 18 feet in length so for yours that is 27 feet long I'd agree that two or more of these in different spots of the camper would give you the best overall heating. A single larger one would heat the entire trailer but due to length it would not be ideal as it would heat one room disproportionately.
