To tow a trailer with electric brakes on the 2020 Honda Odyssey you will need a hitch, wiring, brake controller, lock, ball mount and ball. I have attached my recommendations below.

The 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7L will upgrade the 4-way wiring to a 7-way plug to allow you to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. When wiring the 7-way you simply just extend the black power wire to the positive side of the Honda's battery via provided circuit breaker. Securely ground the plug to a clean bare metal surface of the Honda's frame and then plug the 4-way wiring to the pigtail coming off of the 7-way plug. The brake controller will plug into the 7-way and can be operated via your smart phone. This is the most simplistic way to install a brake controller on a 2020 Honda Odyssey.
