Can the Curt 17200 Sway Bar be reversed to the left side and look the same as the right?

The Curt Friction Sway Control Bar # 17200 is designed out of the box to be mounted on the passenger side of the trailer, but it can certainly be mounted on the driver's side as well with some simple modifications. The reason it's designed to install on the passenger side is just for safety, as this provides an easier position on the side of the road if maintenance during a trip is ever needed.

To mount the unit on the driver/left side of the trailer, you just have to loosen up the handle on the Sway Control Bar, remove the inner piece, and rotate it 180 degrees before reinserting it.
