When you hit a bump, the ball compresses around the flexible, polyurethane core. This durable material absorbs excess shock at the coupling point so that it doesn't transfer from the truck to your trailer or vice versa. This hitch ball is built to last with its forged steel construction and durable powder coat finish. The flexible, shock-absorbing polyurethane core withstands extreme heat for long-lasting performance, and the chrome-plated ball resists corrosion.
The built-in zerk allows you to lubricate the isolator core when necessary, ensuring quiet and trouble-free operation.

Great product. Easy install. Combined with Curt sway control bar and wireless brake control, have had no issues with 21' trailer sway diving across the country.
Everything I buy from Etrailer is always what I expected to receive. Haven’t tried hitch yet but I know it Will accomplish what I need it to. Just surprised I received all in one piece sent it was shipped USPS. Came to Alabama, sent up to Pa. Then back to Me in Alabama. Box was shedded but everything was still in it. This has happen several other times as well! Lol

The customer support I received pre-sale was outstanding. I had a lot of questions after I bought my new trailer and the etrailer rep was incredibly helpful. The ball mount is solid manufacturing. Fits the receiver and my sway bar perfectly.
Great hitch, well designed
The RockerBall is great. Only issue is that it won't work with the Ball Mount w/Sway control that was shipped with it.
May have to return both items if a fix isn't available.
