Curt RockerBall with ShockDrop technology bolts onto standard ball mounts to provide comfort and control while towing. Durable, chrome ball has a 1" diameter x 2-1/8" long shank. Anti-swivel, forged steel base has black powder coat finish.

Note: All RockerBall hitch balls will sit 1-1/2" higher than a standard hitch ball due to their shock absorbing base.
The mounting platform on your ball mount must be at least 3/8" thick and the hole size must not be more than 1/16" larger in diameter than the ball's threaded shank.
Not to be used with a cushioned ball mount.

on our NEW Ram 1500 truck this ball helps reduce the trailer vibration that gets transferred into the truck. it definitely helps with a smoother ride.
Well made and packaged. Instructions are simple and thorough with helpful pictures. I haven't had a chance to use it but it appears that it will function as claimed.

Who has a machine to tork a 250 ft lb nut? I found someone who had a manual tork wrench that could handle that much. Luckily he was huge enough to tighten it. But it still was crooked on the

Great good product
I pull a Teardrop trailer with my SUV and the Curt RockerBall has definitely take some of the road vibrations and harshness out of towing. Highly recommended.

Changed over from the conventional Ball. Noticeable difference after installing Rockerball. Makes the ride quieter and when braking no noises and no trailer play when braking or accelerating. recommended Product.

It's really good so far
Smooths and quiets tow vehicle ride, but ball rusts quickly and significantly.
I bought this for function not asthetics, so Im glad I bought it, but took one star away for the rust. Wish it was made of stainless steel like other premium hitch balls.
Fitment was ok. It does not sit flat against the hitch mounting surface when installed.
Total junk. The mounting plate, which is supposed to keep the rocker ball parallel to the tow vehicle, is way too wide for the two different hitches I tried. When tightening the locking nut, the hitch ball turns significantly out of parallel alignment. But worse, when I attempted to torque the shank nut to the specified 250' lb., the retainer plate bent, and I was not able to tighten the ball per the specification

But all the hitches I found We're over $300. I stumbled upon the Curt rocker ball . It was interesting to me so I had looked up some reviews on it. There wasn't any good reviews on it, but there also wasn't any bad reviews either.
So I decided to give it a shot,
Since it was pretty Inexpensive. Since then, I've had it for a year and a 1/2 now And it's been amazing.something so simple,That works very well. You won't notice it as much if the trailer already tows very well But the trailers that do a lot of jerking You will feel the difference.
A night and day difference.to me it reduced it by By 80%. Very good product!
my rockerball rocks
I ordered this due to a video "Playing with Sticks" by Drew. The ordering, shipping, and delivery was prompt. I have not used the product yet so I have no feedback on that. Once I have used it I will addendum the product.
So far it’s perfect for my needs. It is light weight and sticks out just past my spare tire on Bronco.
Great addition to any hitch, cushions the bumps, especially in glorious stop and go traffic on memorial day!
I didn't know what i was missing with this rocker ball from Curt. It has proven to provide a smoother towing experience!

I really like this ball system. I have one on the for my trailer and one for my boat trailer, really deis take the jolt out and when you are on an incline lets the hitch off the ball when removing it easier.
