Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module Not Filtering Out Turn Signals

Question:

Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module Item # PP20-702 I installed this on my 2009 GMC sierra to have the 3rd light work on my topper. However now it blinks with both blinkers are on. My truck does not have LED lights so am curious why this does not work.

The Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 should indeed filter out those turn signals so that the 3rd brake light on your topper doesn't flash when they are on. If you have the module installed and the 3rd brake light is still flashing with the turn signals you will need to make sure everything is wired correctly.

The two yellow wires coming from the module should be spliced into the stop/turn circuit wires on your truck's trailer connector (whether it's a 4-Way or 7-Way). This will then stop those circuits from reaching the 3rd brake light when the green wire from the module is wired into the light assembly.

If this is exactly how you have it wired please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
