This oblong red light measures 4-1/16" long x 2-1/16" tall x 1" thick and uses a single 194 bulb that draws just 0.25 amps at 12V. It’s P2 rated, giving a clear beam visible straight on for dependable clearance or side marking. The custom-cut lens optics boost light output so other drivers can easily see you at night or in low-light conditions.
The reflex reflector is built right into the lens, so you don’t have to add a separate reflector to stay compliant. It’s a smart way to get both light and reflection in one compact housing, keeping the install clean and simple while still meeting DOT standards.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the surface-mount design. The light sits flat against your trailer’s surface and needs only a small hole for the wire. The mounting holes are spaced 3" center to center, making it easy to line up with existing setups. Hardware isn’t included, but once in place, the light grounds through its mounting hardware for a simple one-wire connection.
The molded plastic base holds up to regular road use without cracking or warping. Inside, the premium incandescent bulb is rated for up to 15,000 hours of light, so you’re not constantly swapping burnt bulbs. It’s a solid setup for a long-term replacement or upgrade that just works when you need it.
If you’re replacing an older light, this model matches well with other common sizes—differences are within about 1/16". It directly replaces Grote #46712 and Optronics #MC38RB, so it’s easy to swap out without drilling new holes or changing your wiring setup.

Actually bought this as a back up in case the lens I bought would not fit my 1999 Bounder.
The lens fit so I didn't need to use it but I am keeping it as a spare. Never know when I will hit a branch again.
The bulb does not match but the light looks exactly as the others. You can't tell it from the original!

The product was a great value and arrived with no damage and nicely packaged. I've got an older wheel horse garden tractor that I'm putting these lights onto. I found similar lights on ebay for $10 each plus shipping. I got them on etrailer for a 1/3 the cost for the same light.

These lights were to replace ones on my '94 Jamboree, which mounts the lights on studs so the fastener hole spacing is critical. Fortunately eTrailer had a dimensional drawing that made it easy to determine that the lights would fit. I wish every supplier would have dimensional drawings of their products, and it is what I hate about the big gorilla in the online field: they never have proper specifications of their products. Thank you, eTrailer: you do it right!
We have a 20 year old Bounder RV. After 20 years of outdoor storage, a few of the lights had cracked ... the occasional tree limb did not help.

I ordered a number of items for a trailer that I am bringing back to life after leaving is stand at the beach for nearly 12 years. I got great advice on what parts I needed to match the original Haulmark lights and license plate bracket/light and also ordered a new breakaway system and safety chains. Everything was priced reasonably, shipped in a timely fashion and was a cinch to install as it all fit right to the original footprints.

Great product, as advertised.
Purchased this item based upon guidance from etrailer that it is the replacement for "SAE-AP2-79" printed on lens of other red marker lights on camper similar to the one I lost.
Needed lens only, but ordered the complete unit anyway.
I used the lens from new item received from etrailer, fit it onto the existing base on the side of the camper.
Perfect fit although very slightly loose.
Used 2 tiny dabs on each side, of Silicone Adhesive, at 11 oclock on the left and 1 oclock on the right, to ensure the snap-to fit will never release, but lens is still removable if need be.
All that said, noticed the same item at Home Depot about the same price... with no shipping charge. However still good buy from etrailer due to time and trouble saved.

Almost exact match to what I have. Easy install and works well and looks good.
Exact replacement on 1998 United Expressline 7x14 box trailer. Also replaced license plate light with holder.
