Question:
Hi, I purchased a BlueOx tow bar, model BX4322, from a person who is no longer rving. I have a 2013 Ford C-Max that will be my towed vehicle. You have the Base plate for my car, but I couldnt find anything that matches up with the connector that is attached to the tow bar. I called Blue Ox and they said they had nothing as that tow bar has been discontinued. The person I purchased this from said he was able to get the correct equipment from your website, with help from someone there. Can you help me? Thanks,

Yes, in order to reuse your Blue Ox Rangefinder II Tow Bar 4322 you will need the Blue Ox Rangefinder II or III Tow Bar to Roadmaster Base Plates Adapters part # RM-037. This adapter kit allows you to use the Blue Ox Rangefinder II Tow Bar with a Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit. The correct Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit for your 2013 Ford C-Max is part # 524432-1. There are not any mounts available for the Blue Ox Rangefinder II Tow Bar to use with a Blue Ox Base Plate Kit. It looks like the previous owner used the above Blue Ox Rangefinder II or III Tow Bar to Roadmaster Base Plates Adapters but did not leave the other set of brackets that are needed so you will need another kit. I have attached a list of other parts you may need as well to complete your towing setup.
Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # 154-792-118158
Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751459
SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 (If Required)
RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables part # RM-643
