Will Adarac Ladder Rack and Softopper Fit Together on 2019 Ford F-150 With 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Updated 09/14/2021 | Published 08/14/2019 >
Question:
I have a softopper on my 2019 F150 short bed. It clamps onto the inside of the bed rails and leaves about 2 to 3 1/2 inches on the top of the truck bed rails outside of the softopper tracks. Would this rack work with the soft topper? I have seen a picture of of someone with this set up but have been unable to contact them. Thanks!!

The Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A70490 that fits your 2019 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed may work with your softopper, it simply depends on how it is installed. The Adarac requires you have full access to your bed rails so your softopper would have to be completely clear of the rails or it would interfere with the rack.
I recommend taking a look at the linked installation video as well as the linked instructions which will give you a much better idea of if your softopper and this rack will work together.

I ending up purchasing this adarac. The bed rails will work next to the softopper rails. However, The upright support bars of the adarac rack lean towards eachother at an angle that prevents the softopper from being up, preventing them both from working at the same time. You would need to fold the softopper down, or pull it off, and then install the bars. Kind of a bummer, as the goal was to have a rack that would go over the softopper. Still a decent strong rack, and the rails look super cool by them selves.
