Does Metal Valve Stem Need to be Installed if Trailer Tire Has 90 PSI Rating

Since the psi is so high, do I need metal valve stems?

The only time that a metal valve stem like part # AM20906 is required is when the psi rating meets or exceeds 100 psi. If you plan on using the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel # AM3H490 then you don't have to change out to a metal valve stem as this comes with the valve stem # AM20907 which is rated for up to 100 psi.
With that being said, it never hurts anything to install a valve stem that has a higher psi rating so if metal valve stems will give you some extra peace of mind (or you simply like the look) then there is no harm in using metal valve stems.
