Question:
I want to upgrade my load range c tires to load range d, I want to see if my wheels are rated to handle the 65 psi air pressure. The only markings on wheel are: Made in USA DOT T15x5JJ Trailer Use only 3 7 01 2 07 11 and the center of the wheel has 0301 646 stamped on it. is there any way to determine the load ranting of the wheel with these markings? Or is there some other way to determine the load rating? Thanks.

The limiting factor in a wheel's pressure capacity is usually the valve stem. Some are rated only for 65-psi, # AM20903, while others such as # AM20904 are rated for 80-psi. Part # AM20907 handles up to 100-psi and part # AM20906 is good for tires needing over 100-psi pressure. Note different valve stems fit different size holes in the wheels.
You will have no trouble moving up to a Load Range D tire on your 15 x 5-inch wheels so long as you also have the correct valve stem installed when the tires are mounted.
In terms of weight capacity your data from the wheel does not indicate this but you can get an idea of the wheel weight capacity based on its type of construction. For example, 15 x 6-inch Conventional Steel Wheel # AM20504 is rated for 1820-lbs.
