Question:
I am picking up a new 2020 Lance 2375 trailer 28 ft / 7000 GVWR in a few weeks and do not know if I really need a WDH with sway control. I will be pulling it with a 2018 RAM 2500 4x4 with the Cummins 6.7 diesel. Tounge weight loaded shoukd be 800-1000 lbs 12-15. Can I tow without the WDH?

The use of a weight distribution system is indeed recommended for your 2020 Lance 2375 Travel Trailer because its weight is more than half of that of your 2018 Ram 2500. I am not saying that it would be impossible for you to tow your trailer without one but the difference between towing with one and without one would be a night and day difference. Most people do not realize what affects rear end sag has on the vehicle's braking and stability. The added sway control protection is also a huge benefit. There is a reason as to why you hear and see so much about weight distribution systems and that's because they work very well.
The best bang for your buck system we have is going to be the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control part # FA92-00-1200. This system is much easier to setup than similar chain style systems and it has some of the best two point sway control on the market. This system is also backed by a ten year warranty and you can always sell it once you are doing using it to recoup some of you money. The only thing you will need to use this system is a hitch ball, part # EQ91-00-6120
