Is it necessary to cut the fascia on a 2014 wrx hatchback? Or can it be left intact?

Yes, rear fascia trimming is required to install the EcoHitch part # 306-X7261 on your 2014 Subaru WRX Hatchback. The rear fascia has to be cut so that the shank of the hitch will fit. I attached a picture that shows where you'd need to trim the rear fascia.
